해남 대한조선 정상화 청신호…위탁경영 연장
전남 해남 대한조선㈜ 경영 정상화에 청신호가 켜졌다.
9일 대한조선에 따르면 신규자금 지원 방안이 확정된 데 이어 대우조선해양의 위탁경영 기간도 2016년 12월까지 연장됐다.
주채권은행인 산업은행이 우리은행 등의 동의를 받아 신규자금 1천25억원을 지원하기로 확정했다고 대한조선은 밝혔다.
이 신규 자금은 올해 말부터 건조하는 석유운반선 8척의 건조와 운영자금으로 사용할 예정이다.
대한조선의 한 관계자는 "대우조선해양이 최근 열린 이사회에서 내년 6월 만료 예정인 대한조선 위탁기간을 2016년까지 연장하기로 결의했다"고 설명했다.
위탁기간 연장으로 대우조선해양의 브랜드 파워와 기술력, 폭넓은 영업망을 활용하고 206만㎡의 산업단지 개발로 대규모 생산기지를 확보해 시장 경쟁력을 갖춘 조선소로 도약할 것으로 보인다.
